BGL Announces the Sale of an Open-Source Intelligence Service Provider

Brown Gibbons Lang & Company (BGL) is pleased to announce the sale of an industry-leading open-source national security partner providing mission-critical intelligence services and technologies to a Chicago-based middle-market private equity firm. BGL’s Aerospace, Defense & Government Services investment banking team served as the exclusive financial advisor to the Company in the transaction.

The Company delivers open-source intelligence (OSINT) services and training, geospatial intelligence, signals intelligence (SIGINT), data analytics, cloud migration & hosting, and cyber security solutions. It also provides multi-discipline intelligence support services, coupled with its proprietary technology platforms, to deliver advanced solutions rooted in data analytics to the United States government and its allies.

The acquisition by the sponsor positions the Company for substantial growth within its core and adjacent end markets, with an opportunity to capitalize on the continuing shift towards advanced data analytics leveraging open-source data for customers critical to the National Security mission.
