Brown Gibbons Lang & Company (BGL) today announced the sale of AML Communications Inc. (AML) to Rogers Communications, Inc. (NYSE: RCI) (Rogers). BGL served as the exclusive financial advisor to AML. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The transaction represents another successful outcome for BGL’s Consumer Products & Retail Services practice and is illustrative of the firm’s international capabilities and experience.
Founded in 1990 and headquartered in Halifax, Nova Scotia, AML Communications is one of the five largest independent Rogers dealers, operating 32 Rogers branded retail locations in Ontario and Eastern Canada, which are among the most modern and efficiently operated in the industry. AML offers Rogers wireless services, devices, and accessories. Its enterprise division serves small and medium-sized businesses.
Toronto-based Rogers, a diversified communications and media company, is Canada’s largest provider of wireless voice and data communications services and a leading provider of cable television, high speed internet, and telephony services.
