BGL Managing Director Brandon Dobell is quoted in a recent article by The Business Journals  entitled, “NAR commissions lawsuit settlement spurs search for trade-group alternatives.”

The article discusses the rise of alternatives to the National Association of Realtors (NAR) following a series of settlement agreements that leave room for more organizations in the industry.

Brandon explains that there are often competing trade groups in other industries, so it’s likely that some groups will grow and stick around in the real estate industry. Further, the complex relationships between the NAR, local Multiple Listing Service (MLS) organizations, brokerages and agents are likely to keep any changes from happening quickly.
