BGL Managing Director and Head of Environmental Services Effram Kaplan was quoted in the article, “Expanding markets, expanding interest,” in the November/December 2022 issue of Waste Today Magazine.
The article discusses how investors are expanding their areas of interest as the industry evolves, and addresses the impact of supply chain and workforce issues. While inflation and uncertain interest rates might have tempered mergers & acquisitions activity in 2022, it was still a very active year.
“The private markets continue to evolve and attract sector-focused capital that has the ability to enhance expected returns [more so] than what I would consider generalist investing, and that’s making the market more efficient,” Effram says.
