BGL Announces Anesthesia Consultants of Savannah’s Partnership with Epix Healthcare Associates

Brown Gibbons Lang & Company (BGL) is pleased to announce the partnership of Anesthesia Consultants of Savannah, P.C. (ACOS) with Epix Healthcare Associates LLC (Epix), a leading provider of anesthesia services with a reputation for clinical excellence and customer, patient, and provider satisfaction. BGL’s Healthcare & Life Sciences team served as the exclusive financial advisor to ACOS. The specific terms of the partnership were not disclosed.

The transaction builds upon BGL’s market leadership position in advising physician practices and related ancillary services. ACOS represents the fourth provider services transaction for BGL’s Healthcare & Life Sciences investment banking practice in the last 10 months.

Founded in 1979 and based in Savannah, Georgia, ACOS is led by a group of 13 board certified and fellowship trained anesthesiologists. ACOS’ physicians are uniquely qualified and experienced with advanced specialization including cardiac, orthopedic, pediatric, high-risk OB, regional, and Level 1 Trauma anesthesia. ACOS’ physicians sought to join Epix due to its unique approach to partnering with high quality anesthesia practices and its comprehensive infrastructure as a leading anesthesia management platform. As a result of the partnership, ACOS will leverage Epix’s specialized resources, personnel, and technology as ACOS continues its commitment to delivering unmatched levels of service to its customers and patients.
