BGL Announces the Sale of Future Environmental to GFL Environmental

November 19, 2018 – Brown Gibbons Lang & Company (BGL) is pleased to announce the sale of Future Environmental, Inc. (Future Environmental) to GFL Environmental Inc. (GFL). BGL’s Environmental & Industrial Services team served as the financial advisor to Future Environmental in the transaction. The specific terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Based in Mokena, Illinois, Future Environmental is a leading provider of environmental services to the petroleum, pipeline, utility, and chemical markets in its region. Future Environmental is one of the largest used oil collection companies in the Midwest and offers a fully integrated suite of collection and recycling solutions for its broad customer base. Its Industrial Services Division provides scheduled maintenance and emergency response environmental services for a diverse group of pipeline, utility, and chemical companies. The company operates from 14 sites across the Midwest, enabling it to deploy equipment and people to job sites rapidly, thereby maximizing customer uptime.
