Brown Gibbons Lang & Company (BGL) announced today the acquisition of Evendale Medical Center, LLC (EMC) by TriHealth, Inc. BGL acted as exclusive financial advisor to TriHealth.
Physician-founded in 2004, EMC consists of two surgical hospitals and an imaging center located in Evendale and Monfort Heights, suburbs of metropolitan Cincinnati, Ohio. EMC’s first facility, formerly known as the Surgery Center of Evendale, was expanded with the acquisition of Westside Regional Medical Center in 2010, to form Evendale Medical Center, which together provide a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures in the areas of orthopedics, otolaryngology, podiatry, gastroenterology, plastic surgery, gynecology, pain management, ophthalmology, and general surgery as well as outpatient imaging procedures in MRI, CT, X-ray, fluoroscopy, and ultrasound. The acquired enterprise will be known as TriHealth Evendale Hospital.
TriHealth is an integrated health system formed in 1995 through the merger of Bethesda North Hospital and Good Samaritan Hospital of Cincinnati. Through these two acute care hospitals and more than 80 locations, TriHealth provides a wide range of clinical, educational, preventive and social programs. TriHealth’s non-hospital services include physician practice management, fitness centers and fitness center management, occupational health centers, home health and hospice care. The not-for-profit organization is affiliated with Catholic Health Initiatives.
