February 25, 2010 – Brown Gibbons Lang & Company today announced the release of a special publication “State of Middle Market Financing in the U.S.”
2009 was a challenging year for middle market M&A, and one in which the lingering effect of tight credit parameters marked a ‘new normal’ for middle market lending. For this edition, we interviewed capital providers to assess the state of the financing markets and to gauge the appetite for investing in middle market companies. We can expect to see a higher level of enthusiasm toward M&A as we move into 2010. The economy is stabilizing, and credit is slowly returning. We are seemingly on the road to recovery, which should bring positive momentum for deal making and steady deal flow in the middle market.
